Become a Volunteer Helper
We always need Helpers to Lead horses, act as Sidewalkers (walking beside the horse so that you can help if the rider becomes unstable) and to help generally, such as reassuring a nervous rider or pushing a broom.
Full training will be given during which you can learn how to safely help our clients and familiarise yourself with our horses. As well as helping our clients you will become part of our group of male and female volunteers of all ages.
Donate
RDB relies entirely on donations and sponsorships for funding. Please consider us – as a local charity we do not have access to the resources of larger charities and rely on donations from individuals and local businesses. We also appreciate those who support us by taking part in events and raising sponsorship money for our cause.
